AOBA is an Indian swimwear brand, and this collection is the full range: bikini sets, monokinis, sarongs, swim skirts and matching swim co-ord sets. Every style is fit-tested for Indian bodies, with most sizes running S to XL, so you are not guessing between sizes meant for someone else.

The fabrics are stretch blends, mostly lycra and nylon, picked for quick drying and for holding their colour through pool water and salt water. Most tops come lined, and many have padding, so you do not need a separate swim bra.

How to choose your swimwear

• Bikini sets: a separate top and bottom, easy to mix and match. Choose a high waist bottom for more coverage.
• Monokinis: a one piece cut with cut-outs, which gives more coverage than a bikini and a different tan line.
• Swim co-ord sets: a matching top and bottom, such as a crop top with a flare skirt, that can also be worn separately.
• Sarongs and cover-ups: for the walk from the sand to lunch.
