The founders
Built by sisters
A NIFT-trained designer with an analytical mind and a heart full of purpose. She left her design career in 2017 to build Aakar Intimates — and has been transforming the island into a paradise for every Aobian since.
Her imagination knows no bounds — filling AOBA's shores with laughter, adventure and endless possibility. With Anushka around, every collection is a new escapade waiting to unfold.
The journey
Aayuushi leaves her design job to start the company — learning, stitch by stitch, what Indian women actually want from the pieces closest to their skin.
The sisters' first label goes live — swimwear, beachwear, lingerie and nightwear celebrating sensuality, boldness and individuality. India responds: over 1,00,000 customers find their fit.
Erotissch pitches to the sharks on national television — a defining moment that brings the sisters' vision to millions of Indian homes.
Post Shark Tank, Erotissch becomes AOBA. Not just a rebrand — a metamorphosis. A bigger world: a mystical tropical island of joy, freedom and fearless colour, with swimwear at its heart.

In March 2024, Aayuushi and Anushka walked onto the Shark Tank India stage and put Indian swimwear in the national spotlight. The conversation that followed — about the brand, the category, and even the name — sparked the boldest decision of the journey: the rebirth of Erotissch as AOBA.
